Before the first bell harkening the start of the new school year, the Board of Directors of the South Central Calhoun Community School District put together final preparations on August 19 at the SCC Middle School Media Center in Rockwell City. The SCC school board also addressed four seats up for election this fall, overheard reports from administration, approved the Middle School Handbook, discussed concerns over possible congestion stemming from the Elementary Expansion project and a penalty for late resignations. The meeting was faster paced compared to previous meetings, having spanned 54 minutes.
