In a short meeting on Monday, the supervisors dealt with only a few agenda items. Jeremy Abbas with the Wellness Committee presented the 2020 ISAC wellness program contract. The contract detailed what the employees need to do for program and how to obtain monetary incentives. Ways to gain incentives include completing a physical and several other options like visiting a financial planner or volunteering. Abbas noted the committee is working to make reporting such activities easier with a fill-in form.
The board held their conference with Reilly Construction and ISG engineers about progress to the Agri-Business Park. They approved a change order to pay Reilly an additional $5800 for redirecting the sanitary sewer at the park. The ISG engineer explained that a different type of connection to an existing manhole at the Eagle Grove lift station is needed than was originally planned.
In other items, the board approved appointments of the Wright County Medical Examiner, Deputy Examiners, and Medical Investigators. Dr. Jon Ahrendsen is the main medical examiner. They also approved a liquor license for DaVannas at Oakridge, and they received the quarterly revenue report from the Wright County Auditor.
Later on Monday and on Tuesday, the board also met with each department head to go over each of their budgets for 2020-2021 fiscal year.
