Last Monday night saw the Cowboys take a close 59-54 loss at West Hancock. Connor State scored 15 points, followed by Christian Gaytan and Coady Olson with identical 13 point totals. State grabbed nine boards, with Aidan Harrington at five rebounds and Mateo Martinez three. Jaxon Carpenter dished out six assists and made four steals, while State had three blocked shots to lead those columns.
On Tuesday they hosted Webster City and lost 73-64 to the Lynx. State was on fire offensively, draining the nets for 22 points on 10 of 15 from the field. Martinez was next at 12 points, followed by Carpenter at nine and Olson with eight counters. State and Gaytan grabbed nine rebounds each, State handed out three assists, Martinez made three steals and State made three blocked shots to lead those columns.
