Loraine was born to Dick and Anna Schnittjer on May 7, 1946. She married her high school sweetheart, Randy Kirstein, through whom two children; Troy Sheffield (deceased) and Kim (Troy, Ames Iowa) Kilzer were born. Loraine wed Jerry Sheffield on Feb. 4, 1982. They were at home (hospice), Ames, when Loraine's spirit departed for aneternity with her Savior, Jesus Christ and her Heavenly Father. Her body will be buried at the French Church, Woolstock, Iowa, at a date to be determined.
