It was eggs galore the past few weeks at the First Lutheran Food Pantry in Clarion. The pantry recently received a large donation of eggs from Centrum Valley Farms. Accepting 60 dozen eggs that day, Pantry Director Hannah Johnson said that it was the largest amount of eggs they have ever gotten at one time. She is happy to be able to offer them to their shoppers. Pictured, Johnson got a little help unloading eggs from Tanja Jensen, and Carla and Connor Kem, with Hilari Sanders of Centrum Valley helping organize the donation. The food pantry is open twice a week- Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 – 11 a.m. and is located in the Clarion First Lutheran Church. They are also still doing their donation collection events along with the Clarion Ministerial Association Food Voucher Program on Friday evenings at the football stadium until the end of May.
