Swinging and remembering

Marlin Klehm loved a good swing. His family says that if you couldn’t find Marlin, you could often track him down by finding a swing overlooking the water. After he passed away earlier this year, it didn’t take long for the Klehms to think of a fitting tribute for the family patriarch. They decided to erect a beautiful swing in his memory. The swing, which was constructed by Marlin’s son Cory, was recently put up by the family in Lake Cornelia Park. It overlooks the quiet waters of the marina and offers a peaceful view of the lake.

The family is happy to share it with anyone who, like Marlin, enjoys a quiet moment and the gentle sway of a swing. Pictured are the Klehm family members who were on hand, helping put up the swing recently and sharing memories of Marlin. Included are Marlin’s wife Linda, his children Cory and Kevin Klehm and Christina Freeman, in addition to grandchildren and other family members.
