“It was very hot weather to begin the season,” stated head coach Daniel Murray. “The boys did very well in taking fifth. It was a little different running two heats, which gave each race about half as many runners than usual. Both Kaeden and Isaiah ran nearly identical times from a year ago on this course. Jacob and Luke bested their previous course times by two to 2 1/2 minutes. The girls could not field a complete team. We’re currently looking for another girl to join. Raven ran well for her first meet of the year, while Makayla, Natalie and Lauren all look to improve as the season continues. We look forward to some cooler weather at our upcoming meets.”
