Wright County Charitable Foundation is calling for non-profit organizations to submit grant applications for funding to help complete their dream projects. The Wright County Charitable Foundation 2020 Fall Granting Period opens on Monday, September 14th, and applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. Friday, October 23rd. Due to safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, applications will be accepted via US Mail if postmarked by October 23rd or by email if sent to wced@co.wright.ia.us by 11:59 p.m. on October 23rd. Late applications will not be considered.
Each grant applicant is required to match a portion of the funds necessary to complete the project; volunteer labor hours can be considered as match, along with the funds needed to complete each project. If possible, applicants should submit their applications before the deadline to allow the grant committee time to conduct a preliminary review of all the applications to ensure all information is correct. Early submissions allow more time should revisions or more information be requested.
