Wright County prepares for National 4-H week October 4-10

The Wright County 4-H program is preparing for a week of fun to celebrate National 4-H Week October 4-10. Each day of the week will feature a different activity for students, 4-Hers and community members to celebrate the 4-H program in Wright County.
Each day of the week is outlined below:

Sunday STEM day – Can you create your own Rube Goldberg machine? Show them what you got!

Monday Memories – What is your favorite 4-H memory? Share on social media for the chance to win some 4-H swag.

Tuesday Trivia – How well do you know 4-H in Wright County? Come see 4-Hers compete for the ultimate prize at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night at Gazebo park in Clarion.

Wear Green Wednesday – Share your 4-H pride! Wear your best green clothing to school today.

Think Outside Thursday – Join the 4-H Teen council after school at 3:45-4:45 at Swimming Pool park in Clarion for an hour of fun games and activities to get outside and active.

Find Out Friday – Learn about the many opportunities 4-H has to offer and how to get involved on the social media pages.

Snapshot Saturday – Vote for the best 4-H photo on our Facebook page- facebook.com/WrightCo4H. The winning photo will be printed on a canvas and displayed in the Wright County Extension Office.

Throughout the week, the community is invited to take a picture with as many hidden 4-H clovers as they can find around Wright County. There are 20 clovers hidden in total. The top three winners will each be announced on Saturday, Oct. 10 and awarded a 4-H prize.

"National 4-H week is a great opportunity for members to participate in community outreach and spread the word about the Wright County 4-H program and the impact it has had in their lives," said Emily Zahurones, Wright County Youth Coordinator. "We are excited to celebrate everything 4-H and engage our communities to help make the best better."
