The Cowgirl volleyball express is rolling towards the postseason, picking up another three-set sweep to win over St. Edmond on their home floor. Scores were 25-13, 25-15 and 25-10.
Team serving was at 91.7 percent, with the always steady Lexie Lane at 16 of 18 with four aces. Nicole Waters was 13 of 13 (three), Alaina Friesleben 12 of 13 (three), Jadyn Jondle 10 of 11 (three), Morgan Middleton 9 of 9 (two) and Kendall Lienemann 6 of 8.
Friesleben set for 36 assists, with Middleton pounding 21 kills for points and Lienemann 10. Lane added five kills, Waters two and Jondle, Friesleben and Summer Traub one each. Jondle reached 10 digs as the libero, with Lienemann making six, Emma Conlon and Middleton four each and Lane three saves of the ball. Waters finished with one.
Lane had a solo block, with her and Waters also making an assist at the net each.
The team hosts rated Humboldt this Thursday in a battle for the conference title.
