The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Middle School students made cards for the Clarion Police Department and Wright County Sheriff’s Office. These were put together to recognize Wright County law enforcement officers for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day last week. Several officers also visited the school to speak to the students. Middle School Principal Steve Haberman said, “It felt great to have the officers back in the school. We have a good partnership with law enforcement and the cards and visits are a great way to honor that.” A Clarion Police Department’s Facebook post about the cards said, “Big thanks to these kiddos, as their support means more than we could express.” Pictured below, left to right, Deputy Pieczko, Chief TerHark, Sergeant Knutson, Assistant Chief Thompson, and Sheriff Jason Schluttenhofer.
