In a tri-meet last Friday at Clarmond, the Cowboys took a win over both Iowa Falls-Alden and Webster City. The home team finished with a 163 total, followed by the Cadets at 174 and the Lynx at 175. Jacob Moore shot a 38 for the low round, followed in counters by Tyson Berning at 39, Eric Fjetland at 40 and Cale Kirstein at 46. Other varsity rounds were played by Garrett Seaba and Carson Harle (both at 51), Colin Kirstein (52) and Jackson Beisel (65).
In a Saturday tournament at Algona, Pocahontas Area took the team title at 370 followed by C-G-D at 383, Forest City at 386, Algona at 389 and Eagle Grove at 493. Moore posted an 18-hole total of 91, followed by Fjetland at 94, Berning at 98, Cale at 100, Beisel at 101 and Colin at 106.
