The 2021 Cowgirl softball team finished at 1-22 overall and a 0-14 North Central Conference mark. Clarissa Hasty earned a spot on the Third Team in All-Conference balloting.
The team had 544 total at-bats, with 118 runs on 130 hits. They produced 84 RBI and drew 63 walks. They had 17 batters hit by pitch and 47 reaching base on an error. The team batting average was .239. Clarissa Hasty had 22 hits out of 67 at-bats for an average of .328. Brooke Askelsen had 19 hits in 59 at-bats for an average of .322. C. Hasty scored the most runs with 21, followed by McKenna Hasty 18, Hennigar 15, B. Askelsen 12, Lienemann 11, Lehman, Johnson and Dow 10 each, Trca nine and Kapka and Jackson 1 each.
There were 114 base hits out of the 130 total, with C. Hasty smacking four doubles to top that column and both her and Lienemann blasting a triple each. Trca hit the lone round-tripper of the year.
The top nine in RBI were C. Hasty 16, Lienemann 13, B. Askelsen 12, Lehman and Trca nine each, Hennigar eight, M. Hasty and Dow seven each and Johnson three.
Johnson led in walks taken with 12, followed by Dow 11, Trca eight, Lehman seven, Lienemann six, M. Hasty and C. Hasty five each, B. Askelsen four, Hennigar three and both Kapka and Ellie Mewes at one each.
C. Hasty was hit by pitch six times, with Hennigar and Lehman advancing three times each. C. Hasty and Lehman reached on an error eight times each, with M. Hasty at seven times and Lienemann six.
The team had 66 total steals out of 81 attempts. C. Hasty stole 15 total bases out of 15 attempts, with Lienemann making 11 thefts, B. Askelsen and M. Hasty nine each and Lehman eight.
For players in at least 22 games, Alaina Friesleben had a 1.000 fielding percentage followed by Trca .926, Dow .925, Lienemann .875, Lehman .845, M. Hasty .840, C. Hasty .840 and B. Askelsen .833. Trca had 113 total putouts and C. Hasty 123 total catches to lead those columns.

In conference games only, C. Hasty tied for 21st in batting average with .351. Kelly Stoakes of Webster City led with a .628 average. Clarissa finished 20th in on-base percentage with .442, with Stoakes leading that with a .724.
