MaxYield Cooperative delivers $5,000 to the Shine of the Grotto of the Redemption

The Shine of the Grotto of the Redemption, found in West Bend, Iowa, has been honored as a source of pride by MaxYield Cooperative and Cenex®, the energy brand of CHS. As part of this award, the cooperative will donate $5,000 to the Shrine of the Grotto of the Redemption.

As part of the honor, the Shine of the Grotto of the Redemption received a $5,000 grant from MaxYield Cooperative. The organization will use the money to restore parts of the pilgrimage site.

“The Shine of the Grotto of the Redemption is one of the largest tourist attractions in Iowa," said Dakota Johnson, client care leader at MaxYield Cooperative. “We’re proud to support an attraction that is part of West Bend’s history, and we’re excited that our donation will further fuel our community.”

The grant was provided through an initiative that encourages Cenex dealers, retailers and distributors to share stories about what makes their local communities special. Now in its third year, the initiative has granted more than $300,000 to Cenex communities.

“The Cenex brand is committed to supporting and celebrating what makes hometowns across America special,” said Mark Vanderlinde, communications manager at CHS. “We are proud of our Cenex dealers, like MaxYield, who play an active role in supporting their local organizations and the people in their community.”
