Homecoming week is in full swing at CGD. The theme this year is “Wild West Fest.” Dress up days, games and fun activities are taking place throughout this week. The pep rally and coronation of the king and queen was held on Wednesday night. This year’s homecoming court is made up of the following seniors: Picture, front, left to right, Kaylie Dow, Brooke Askelsen, Paige German, Nikki Kapka, Summer Traub. Back, left to right: Danny Chavez, Tyson Berning, Connor State, Cael Chase, Coady Olson. The king and queen will be introduced during half time of the football game Friday night. The traditional homecoming parade will take place on Friday at 2 pm. The parade route will start at the middle school and follow the traditional downtown route.
