Wright County 4-H will be hosting the 1st annual Community Fall Festival at Gazebo Park located at 107 Second St NE in Clarion on Sunday, October 3 from 1-4pm. This event is open to the public and will have several hands-on family friendly activities.
For the festival, all seven Wright County 4-H clubs will be providing a Minute to Win It styled game for families and homemade cakes for the cake walk. Among many crafts and activities, there will additionally be an area to learn about the Wright County 4-H soccer program. The soccer booth will include new interactive athletic challenges every 30 minutes throughout the day.
Wright County 4-H is proud showcase to memories from the past 4-H year through a photo collection in the park gazebo and a year-in-review slideshow at the end of the event. Additional entertainment will include youth Share the Fun talent acts on the main stage and recognition of the 2021 4-H Hall of Fame recipients, Brian and Joni Worden. Community members will be invited to learn more about the Wright County 4-H program with available on-site enrollment.
Wright County 4-H is proud to partner with Wright County Farm Bureau, Wright County Conservation and Heartland Museum for this event. Each organization will be offering an interactive activity for the duration of the festival.
“Fall Festival is a great way to showcase the pride of our members and introduce the 4-H program to others in the community,” said Emily Zahurones, County Youth Coordinator. “We hope that this event will inspire families to get enrolled for the new year and that anything is possible through 4-H.”
