Following the success for the CGD varsity boys basketball team, the Cowboys wrestling squad repeated victory over the Clear Lake Lions Thursday night. Hosted by Clear Lake, the Cowboys were hoping for success during the conference competition…and they got it. Coach Dan Gabrielson had only positives to say with their performance as he said, “Our 106 and 113 pounders came up huge with a pin and win, Dietrich and Rigo!! We also had huge bonus points in 4 other matches and Mack Seaba won an OT match that would be the difference!!”
After Clear Lake, the Cowboys will travel to Young Arena for the Battle of Waterloo on Friday, December 17, and Saturday, December 18, where the Lions will also be present.
