Hagie Manufacturing in Clarion recently awarded the Clarion Fire Department $6,710 from the Hagie Foundation for the purchase of two sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes equipment such as bunker gear, similar to the set pictured. Included in each set will be a pair of boots.
Hagie Manufacturing has been a strong supporter of the CFD over the years. and has helped fund several sets of PPE over the years, plus has expressed interest in continuing their assistance going forward. PPE has a life span of 10 years as per code from the National Fire Protection Association and CFD has requested assistance from various charitable organizations to help alleviate a limited fire budget and are greatly appreciative for the assistance.
