Last week, the Cowgirls Golf Team didn’t have to travel too far from home, playing in Dows and Goldfield.
On Monday, they took to the course at Dows against South Hamilton. SH came in over CGD 203 to 219. Top medalist was SH’s Rebekah Carlson, shooting a 46.
Karina Torres was the Cowgirls top golfer with a 52. Other CGD girls’ scores: Sawyer Morrical 52, Emily Christensen, 57; Lauren Brooks, 57; Julia Gardner, 58; Delia Swanson, 61.
On Tuesday, the girls stayed local again, playing at Oak Ridge against Algona. The teams tied for 214s. Sawyer Morrical was the best CGD golfer, carding a 49. Other scores: Emily Christensen, 53; Karina Torres, 53; Julia Gardner, 59; Delia Swanson, 59; Lauren Brooks, 64.
