Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 200th baby of 2022, Aurora May Pergande, was born on May 12th at 7:30 in the evening to mother Brianna Pergande. Baby Aurora weighed 8 pounds 13.2 ounces, was 21 inches in length, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “Our OB department continues to grow in 2022,” stated Jenn Mewes, OB Leader. “Currently there are plans to add more LDRP rooms to the department in order to continue to provide amazing personalized care to our patients. We continue to look forward on how to best serve our community.”
In 2021, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 568 babies, which is the most babies ever delivered at the facility. They are currently well on their way to surpassing that total.
