Residents of Dows have been experiencing low water pressure due to a leak in the water tower. The levels in the water tower were lowered to repair the leak. The City requested that citizens limit the amount of water they use during the repair period.
In other news, T and S Sanitation is moving garbage pickup day for Dows. Beginning on April 1, garbage will be picked up on Mondays. The city requests that garbage be put out on the curb no later than 8:00 A.M.
The city also announced its annual Citywide Clean Up date as May 3 and 4. Citizens are requested to bring their ‘junk’ to the dumpsters by the city shop. Appliances will cost ten dollars to be rid of. For more information, contact City Hall at 515-852-4327.
