The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls track and field team faced bitter conditions last Thursday at the Lynx Relays in Webster City, but still managed to perform well and bring home several medals.
Kennedy Jackson finished 4th in the 100 and 5th in the Long Jump for the Cowgirls. The Distance Medley (Navaeh Liem, Kaylie Morris, Kennedy Hoesing, Harley Charlson) and Sprint Medley (Aleena Schaffer, Nevaeh Liem, Adelynn Howell, Kennedy Hoesing) relays both placed 5th on the windy afternoon.
MaKayla Beisel earned silver in the 400 Hurdles and Long Jump and 5th in the 100 Hurdles.
Adelynn Howell brought home 4th in the High Jump. Harley Charlson finished 5th in the open 800.
