After a commanding 7-4 win over Iowa Falls-Alden on April 18th, the Wright County boys soccer team hosted Garner-Hayfield-Ventura for a Monday night match in Belmond.
Junior Andy Rivera assisted on three goals and scored two of his own to lead Wright County’s offensive attack. Senior Ty Franklin also had an assist and two goals in the dominating performance over Garner-Hayfield-Ventura.
Goalkeeper Jose Alfaro’s eight saves minimized any threat from the opposing Cardinals. William Rivera and Angel Cortez each contributed goals for Wright County in the 6-1 rout of the Cadets.
