Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys golfers hosted two conference opponents on Tuesday, April 23rd. Clear Lake and St. Edmond met the Cowboys at Clarmond Country Club for nine holes of afternoon golf. The Lions took the win with a team score of 166, followed by St. Edmond with 178, and CGD with a total of 202.
The Cowboys were led by Landen Kakacek (46), Carson Nesheim (50), and Colin Kirstein (53). Sophomore Kakacek shot a 53 to bring CGD’s team total to 202.
JD Morrical and Caleb Seaba also golfed for the Cowboys, shooting 56 and 57, respectively.
