Last Thursday, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys track and field team ran, threw, and jumped against seven conference opponents on an overcast evening in Clarion.
Huxley Lingenfelter finished 8th place in the discus with a throw of 123’8”.
The 4×100 relay team of Ethan Boots, Bryce Lindaman, Huxley Lingenfelter, and Mason Allen came in 7th place with a time of 49.47. Boots, Lindaman, Owen Sweeney, and Lingenfelter ran the 4×200 in 1:41 for an 8th place finish.
Sweeney, Dietrich Woodley, Calvin Barrett, and Logan Legleiter earned points in the 4×400 with an 8th place finish.
Christopher Greenfield finished 11th in the 1600 with a time of 5:31 and 10th in the 3200 with a time of 12:00.
The Cowboys will be in action again on May 9th at Dike-New Hartford for their state qualifying meet.
