Luella Brotherton, 99, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024. Born in Clarion, Iowa, she moved to Pasadena, California, with a friend, where she met her late husband, Jack. Together, they ran Brotherton's Farmhouse Restaurant from 1937 to 1986. Luella leaves behind three children, Brent, Marlene, and Laurie, 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She loved traveling and playing cards, and was cherished in Fallbrook, Pasadena, and Clarion. A celebration of her life will be held on August 21 at Christ the King Church in Fallbrook, CA, with a live stream available. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fallbrook Senior Center in her honor.
