Miguel Calles, a senior at CGD, recently signed with the Iowa Central Community College (ICCC) dance team. Miguel, the son of Yadi Munoz, has been working to pursue his passion for dance since middle school.
Miguel, who plans to major in business, chose Iowa Central for a good reason: its dance team is ranked number one in the nation. However, the family-like atmosphere in the ICCC dance team made the biggest impression on him.
Miguel plans to spend two years at ICCC before transferring to Iowa State University. For now, he’s ready to give it his all with the ICCC dance team for the 2025/26 season.
