The Clarion City Council met in regular session Tuesday February 4th, 2025, at 5:00pm in the Council Chambers with Mayor Pro-Tem Dave Flurer presiding. Present were Council members Dan Hennigar, Shayne Hennigar, Nick McOllough and (Mayor Heiden & Mike Ennis – absent). Also, in attendance City Administrator Clint Middleton, Attorney Zach Chizek, PWD Jon DeVries, and Chief Steve TerHark.
Mayor Pro-Tem Flurer called the meeting to order and polled the council for any conflicts of interest with the agenda, there was none. Mayor Pro-Tem Flurer asked if there were any citizens listed to address the council, there were none.
Motioned by McOllough seconded by S. Hennigar to approve consent agenda consisting of Minutes- 2025.01.21; Financial report- approve checks; Licenses/Permits- (Building, Liquor, Tobacco, Sign, Peddler, Street Closure) (Motion passed 4-0, Ennis-absent).
Motioned by D. Hennigar seconded by McOllough to approve Resolution (25-09) approving Pay Request with Peterson Construction for WTP Project for $427,500.00 (Motion passed 4-1, Ennis-absent).
Motioned by McOllough seconded by S. Hennigar to approve Resolution (25-10) Development Agreement – City- Pelico (Motion passed 4-1, Ennis-absent).
Middleton updated the Council on the Budget Workshops dates that coincide with current council meetings. Reports from the Council or Dept heads: None
Motioned by D. Hennigar seconded by S. Hennigar to adjourn. All Ayes. (Motion passed 4-0).
