On Thursday night, Clear Lake hosted the North Central Conference boys’ track and field meet at Lions Field.
Algona took the team title with 184 points, followed by Clear Lake (170) and Humboldt (110). The Cowboys earned 25 team points for 8th overall.
Senior Tate Jackson had an 8th place finish in the 3200m run after clocking a time of 11:21.84. Chaz Lane placed 7th in the 110m hurdles (17.05) and 6th in high jump (5’6”). Lane also led off the 5th place finishing shuttle hurdle team of Eduardo Rivera, Daven Duncalf, and Henry Holmes.
Huxley Lingenfelter threw the discus 132’ 7” for 8th place, and the 4×800 relay of Christopher Greenfield, Dietrich Woodley, Calvin Barrett, and Logan Torsell finished in 9:57.77 for 6th.
