Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics is proud to announce the birth of the 400th baby of 2020. Teagan Kay Wharton was born on October 22nd at 2:04 in the afternoon to parents Luke and SheRee Wharton. She weighed 7 pounds 4.5 ounces, was 19 inches in length, and she has brown hair and blue eyes. Teagan joins siblings Jacob, 13; Hannah, 10; Zoey, 5 and Easton, 3.
“This year is proving to be momentous in more ways than one,” shared Jennifer Mewes, OB Leader. “Here at Iowa Specialty Hospital we are preparing to deliver more babies than we ever have. We are so appreciative to be allowed to care and nurture these parents at a time when kindness matters.”
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. In 2019, there were 426 babies born at Iowa Specialty Hospital, which is the most ever delivered at the facility in one year and they are preparing for another record-setting year.
