For the third straight year, and fifth time in school history, The Cowgirl volleyball team has qualified for the State Tournament for Class 3A. They go in seeded second at 27-2, and will play 7th seeded Red Oak (30-4) on Monday night at 8 p.m. The winner plays either 3rd seed Mount Vernon (30-6) or 6th seed Union (LaPorte City) (31-9 in the semifinals on Wednesday at 3 p.m.. Other teams in the bracket are No. 1 Osage, No. 8 Humboldt, No. 4 Davenport Assumption and No. 5 Unity Christian (Orange City). The championship match will be Thursday at 3 p.m.
