Rain, rain, go away, come again another day. Those words should be the motto of the South Central Calhoun cross country teams so far this season.
When one glances at the Titans’ 2019 schedule, SCC have only participated in just three meets. This week, the Titans will not be able to compete on the cross country course, as the Denison-Schleswig Invitational and the Pocahontas Area Invitational were both cancelled this past week.
The meet hosted by the Monarchs, set for Oct. 1, was cancelled due to subpar weather conditions while the soggy weather and a wet forecast put the kibosh on the Poky Invite that was set for this past Saturday.
SCC will hope for better conditions, as they prepared to host the SCC Cross Country Invitational, set for this past Tuesday at the Lake City Country Club.
Results from the meet will be posted in an upcoming edition of The Graphic-Advocate.
