GOWRIE – Webster-Calhoun Cooperative Telephone Association is excited to announce we will be starting construction very soon to install fiber optic communication throughout the city of Lohrville, according to a Sept. 30 news release.
However, WCCTA is not plowing in rural areas at this time.
WCCTA has a long history with Central Cable Contractors from Waupon, Wis. Central Cable Contractors have done all WCCTA’s past fiber construction.
Initially, WCCTA has sent out requests for property owners to provide authorization to connect this fiber to a home or business. There is no charge to do this and no immediate requirement for service.
WCCTA needs your permission to plow fiber onto your property and connect to your home or business.
If pre-authorization is not given before or during the initial installation process, construction charges may apply for connecting later.
