In the written reports, city attorney Zach Chizek noted that he and the city administrator continue to work with Daybreak Foods representatives on the spec building acquisition. He added that agreements and paperwork should be ready to present to the council by the next meeting in early February or at a special meeting sooner.

One of the councilmembers asked about city rec programs. Due to lack of gym space and the schools’ gyms still being closed to outside groups, rec activities are at a standstill. The council encouraged the city administrator to write a letter to the school district asking them to reconsider their policy.
