Though the festivities were slightly smaller than years past, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School still got in the spirit for Winterfest last week. The theme this year was “Winter Wonderland.” Dress up days included pajama day, twinning day, jersey day, and flannel day, in addition to a fun new idea: ‘Zoom meeting’ day where everyone dressed up on their top half but wore pj’s on the bottom. King candidates included: (left to right, back row) Kain Nelson, son of Greg and Kathy Nelson; Niklas Christopherson, son of Wendy and Patrick Hogan; Damien Bjorklund, son of James and Rebecca Bjorklund; Nathan Stuck, son of Bill and Lisa Stuck; and Reed Abbas, son of Jeremy and Sara Abbas. Queen candidates were (front, left to right) Emma Keller, daughter of Dave and Dawn Keller; Paige Nelson, daughter of Greg and Kathy Nelson; Raven Kinnetz, daughter of Lars and Chantelle Kinnetz; Brenna Cross, daughter of Jared and Erin Cross; and Tessa Warnke, daughter of Craig and Katy Warnke. In the end, Stuck and Warnke were crowned King and Queen. Photos by Bridget Shileny
