Raven Kinnetz was unstoppable last Tuesday night in Eldora as the Cowgirl basketball team easily defeated South Hardin 57-29 on the Tigers home floor. The Cowgirls were up 38-16 by halftime to pretty much decide the outcome at that point. Kinnetz drained the nets for 25 points including four connections from long range. Quinn Hansch was next with seven points, followed by Courtney Harle with six points and both Nicole Waters and Emma Keller at three points each. Jadyn Jondle scored two points and Emma Conlon one point.
Harle pulled down seven rebounds, with Alaina Friesleben getting six and both Kinnetz and Morgan Middleton five each. Jondle, Kendall Lienemann and Hansch all got their hands on three caroms each, with Lexie Lane getting two and both Conlon and Keller one each. Jondle dished out three assists, with Kinnetz, Lienemann and Hansch all making two each. Conlon, Harle and Keller all finished with one apiece. Kinnetz picked off five steals, with both Harle and Middleton making two each. Jondle, Hansch, Friesleben, Lane and Keller all had one each. Hansch, Friesleben and Middleton all added a blocked shot each to their final lines.
Clear Lake used their home court advantage on Friday as the Lions easily downed the Cowgirls by a 62-27 score. The home team led 32-14 at the break. Kinnetz poured in 15 points with a trey included. Middleton scored five points, Hansch three points and both Harle and Friesleben two points each. Harle pulled down nine rebounds, with Kinnetz grabbing six and Jondle four. Hansch and Middleton finished with three each, while Lienemann, Friesleben and Lane all contributed one each.
Kinnetz made two assists with the ball and Lienemann one. Harle picked off four steals on the defensive side, with Kinnetz and Hansch getting their hands on three each. Middleton picked up a blocked shot.
The Cowgirls won a game at Eagle Grove this past Monday by a 52 to 20 score. Stats were not available yet for that game. Watch next weeks Monitor for those full stats.
