Wednesday, April 21 was the 2021 North Central Conference Art Show. Several Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School students participated in the art show this year under the direction of high school art teacher Heather Walker. There are eight schools in CGD’s conference.
Normally, this annual art show takes place at a local community college near the host school. This year the show went virtual! CGD students in the show gathered together in the high school collaboration lab to view the show, hear from guest artists, and create artwork. At least 120 works of art were competed, with no more than fifteen artworks entered from each school.
You can view the entire show and the award categories through the link available on the high school’s Facebook page.
Congratulations to the following CGD artists who received awards this year! – Paige German – Judge's Choice; Lillian Fulk – 1st Place – Best of 3D; Jaidyn Lockwood – 1st Place – Best of Mixed Media/Collage.
