As 4-H and FFA members make last-minute preparations for their exhibits for the Wright County Fair set for July 7 through 12, the following five females are also getting ready for the competition to be crowned the Wright County Fair Queen.
On July 7, a committee of judges will carefully interview the ladies to select the royalty based on their traits and their leadership and citizenship contributions throughout the community. The Queen and Princess will reign throughout the fair while also assisting with many fair activities. In addition, the Queen will represent Wright County in the Iowa State Fair Queen competition this August.
In addition to prizes and a trip to the Iowa State Fair sponsored by the Wright County Fair Board, the Wright County Fair Queen will receive a $500 scholarship sponsored by Humboldt Mutual Insurance Association. The five youth vying for the titles of 2021 Wright County Fair Queen and Princess are:

She was involved with Iowa Central’s Postsecondary Agriculture Students organization, Phi Theta Kappa, serving as Vice President and currently serving on the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team.
