Kendall lienemann and Middleton had three each.
Kinnetz dished the pumpkin for three assists, with Jondle, Lienemann and Hansch all making two each and Midddleton one. Jondle was busy on defense in grabbing five steals, with Kinnetz finishing at four and Lienemann, Hansch and Harle all two apiece. Lienemann also had a blocked shot.
“This was a huge win for us on the road against a very athletic and well-coached team,” stated head coach Adam Vorrie. “We persevered through a challenging first half, and were able to come from behind to take the lead before the halftime break. After that, the coaches made some great suggestions for adjustments to make and we never really looked back from there. These are the kinds of games we need to win to make a long postseason run.”
They stayed on the road on Tuesday, traveling to Gowrie and getting a 53-31 win over Southeast Valley. Harle canned 22 points on 9 of 15 from the field, while Lienemann joined her with 11 points. Hansch kept up her offense beyond the arc, making three shots for nine points. Jondle had eight points and Middleton three points on free throws. Harle had a double-double in cleaning the glass for 12 rebounds. Jondle and Lienemann finished at six apiece and Middleton five. Hansch grabbed four rebounds and Emma Conlon one.
Jondle and Middleton handed out three assists each, Conlon and Lienemann two each and Harle one. Harle was a force in the guard court as well, making five steals followed by Lienemann and Hansch at three each. Jondle picked off one ball. Jondle went airborne for three blocked shots and Lienemann two.
“We started off really slow and allowed them to hang around for most of the first half,” said the head coach. “Our defense did a nice job as usual, but we struggled scoring without Raven in the first half. Coaches Hansch and Kakacek came up with some offensive adjustments to make that we had not put in place before. That really allowed us to pull away in the second half. I’m really proud of the perseverance shown by the girls.”
The team is now 9-2 overall, and goes to Hampton-Dumont/CAL this Friday.
