Homecoming festivities are planned for next week September 13-17 at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. This year’s theme will be “Wild West Fest.”
Dress up days, games and fun activities will be taking place throughout the week. A powder puff football game will be Monday evening at the stadium at 7:30 pm. Home sporting events are scheduled, including volleyball games on Tuesday and Thursday and the football game Friday night versus Estherville Lincoln Central.
This year, some events have been changed up a bit. The pep rally and coronation of the king and queen will be on WEDNESDAY, September 15 in the high school gym at 7 pm. The community is invited to this event.
The traditional homecoming parade will still take place on Friday and be held at 2 pm. The parade route will start at the middle school and follow the traditional downtown route.
