With the season reaching its end for the NCC leaders, Coach Jason Berning had this to say about the Cowboys this season, “Proud of how we battled…that night and all season long. For a majority of the season, the ball did bounce our way and we were able to win numerous close games. Our 2 goals were to win the NCC and make it to the state tournament. We fell short in our 2nd goal, but very proud of achieving the first which was the first time since 1962. We also set a school record with 19 wins! Fantastic group of kids to work with.”
