Boys track busy with three meets last week

               On Tuesday, the Cowboys traveled to the Cardinal Relays at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura. The ‘boys took 8^th place out of 11 teams with 50 points. Central Springs won the meet that day with 137 points.

               Nevan Foss took home the first-place medal in high jump with a leap of 5-10. Mason Allen earned another first place for the Cowboys in discus with a toss of 150-2.0. The 4×100 and 4×200 meter relay teams both took 2^nd with 46.25 and 1:37.95 respectively. The 800-medley relay team came in 4^th at 1:42.22.

Other notable finishers: Nick Sisson- shot put- 5^th (39-1); Caden Hankins- shot put-8^th (36-1.0); Jacob Ingebritson- 100 m dash- 8^th place (12.49); Rigo Bobadilla- 400 m dash- 7^th place (56.31); Brandon Zigrang- Long jump- 5^th place (17 ft); Landon Olson- Long jump- 8^th place (16-05.5).

At Roland Story on Thursday, the Cowboys team took sixth out of nine teams with 67 points. The home team won handily that day with 169 points.

               Jacob Ingebritson earned a first-place medal for the Cowboys in the 200-meter dash with a 24.19. Mason Allen continued his strong showing in discus with a 2^nd place and throw of 143-08. Connor State took 3^rd in the 110-meter hurdles (17.54). Nevan Foss took 3^rd in the long jump with 18-9.0.

               Other point-earning finishers: Foss and Aidan Harrington place 4^th and 5^th respectively in the 100-meter dash with times of 12.05 and 12.12. Rigo Bobadilla came in 5^th in the 200 with a 24.74. The 800-sprint medley relay team of Jacob Ingebritson, Connor State, Alex Greving, Rigo Bobadilla took 4^th place with a time of 1:43.55. Janosch Rösner- 8^th place in 400 m hurdles (1:07.31). Harrington- 7^th place in high jump with 5-4.0. Landon Olson-7^th place in long jump (18-2.5). Nick Sisson- 6^th place in shot put with a throw of 40-3.0. 4×100 meter relay- 3^rd place (Bobadilla, State, Foss, Harrington).

               At the South Hardin meet on Friday, the boys team continued with some strong individual performances, earning 77 points to come in 4^th out of six teams.

               4×100 meter relay team took a first with a time of 46.23 (Bobadilla, State, Foss, Harrington); Ingebritson took 2^nd in the 200 meter dash (24.60). State came in 2^nd in 100m hurdles (17.43). Allen again earned a 2^nd in discus (133-10).

               Other scoring events: Foss- high jump- 3^rd place (5-8.00); Gonzalez- 100 meter dash- 6^th (12.67);  Christopher Greenfield – 3200m run- 5^th (12.38). Gardner- Discus- 6^th (111-01); Sisson- shot put- 6^th (40-1.5). 4×200 m relay- 4^th (1:43.35); 4×400 m relay team- 2^nd (3:52.61); Shuttle Hurdle relay- 2^nd -1:07.59 (Foss, Harrington, Gardner, State); 800 Spring medley relay- 2^nd– 1:44.02 (Olson, Harrington, Ingebritson, Greving); 1600 distance medley relay- 5^th – 4:33.45 (Bierl, Rosner, Lindaman, DeCoster).
