Beisel Sweeps Jumping Events At Hawkette Relays

On Tuesday, April 23rd, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls track and field team competed against five other high schools at the Hawkette Relays in South Hamilton. 

 

Kennedy Jackson, a junior sprinter, finished 7th in the 100 and 200 for the Cowgirls. Kaylie Morris finished the 400 in 1:21 for a 7th place finish. 

 

MaKayla Beisel took 2nd place in the 100 Hurdles with a time of 16.21, 1st in the High Jump with a leap of 5-0.00, and jumped 16-00.25 in the Long Jump for 1st place. 

 

Jacqueline Kirstein threw 28-10 in the Shot Put for 7th place and 72-01 in the Discus for 5th place. 

 

The 4×200 Relay team of Aleena Schaffer, Kennedy Jackson, Adelynn Howell, and Nevaeh Liem earned bronze with a time of 2:01.57.
