A strong and highly rated Ogden team proved to be just too much of a hill to climb in first round regional play, and especially on the Bulldogs home field. Ogden took a 12-0 win in three innings, ending the Cowgirls season. Ogden ace Denali Loecker allowed no hits and no one on base to totally shut down the Cowgirl bats, while her counterpart Alaina Friesleben got three strikeouts in the shortened game.
The team finishes with a 3-9 record, with Quinn Hansch, Courtney Harle, Remi Johnson, Paige Willey, Emma Schluttenhofer, Hannah Tew and Hannah Jo Gustafson Hodson all playing their final game in a softball uniform.
