Grundy Center mayor Paul Eberline helped deliver Meals on Wheels in Grundy Center on Thursday, March 24 as part of a “March for Meals” initiative by the Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging.
The NEI3A’s goal is to get elected public officials involved with helping the agency get elder Iowans the food they need.
It also helps bring visibility to the meal-delivery program, which is sometimes in need of volunteer assistance. Those interested in volunteering in any way can contact NEI3A at 800-779-8707.
