PACKWOOD — The Pekin Panther Players are bringing a bit of magic to the stage this fall with their production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, running Nov. 14–16 at the Pekin High School auditorium.

This beloved Broadway classic tells the story of a young woman who dares to dream beyond her circumstances — with humor, heart and a touch of fairy-tale sparkle. The show features lavish costumes, enchanting sets and unforgettable songs such as “In My Own Little Corner” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”

Director Staci Wright said the cast and crew have poured their hearts into the production since the first week of school. “The students have worked tirelessly to bring this story to life,” Wright said. “It’s been incredible to watch their dedication and teamwork on and off the stage.”

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14; 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16. The Saturday show will include a dinner theater, featuring a full meal of chicken or ham balls, cheesy potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, dessert, water and iced tea.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 3–10. Dinner theater tickets are $35 for adults, $65 for couples and $25 for children. Seating is limited — about 100 seats remain for Friday and Saturday performances and 80 for Sunday.
