Sigourney Council Approves Mower Replacement

SIGOURNEY – During the Jan. 21 meeting of the Sigourney City Council, the council approved combining parcels for the Town Square Park. The council approved spending approximately $6,600 plus trade-in to replace a city mower. The mower has 410 miles and is four years old. It was replaced as part of a two-year replacement schedule. The council approved paying Mayor Pro Temp Connie McLaughlin the salary of new Mayor Gary Iosbaker for the time he has been absent, due to her covering his duties. Iosbaker has been absent since the start of the year.
