Claire Weaver, a junior at Forest City High School, will perform for her third year in a row at the Iowa All-State Music Festival. Weaver was selected for the All-State Band, and she plays the flute and piccolo.
The 79th annual Iowa All-State Music Festival will be held this Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20-22 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, with a public performance on Saturday. Iowa PBS will record the concert for later broadcast.
Weaver is considering music in her future. She is the daughter of Kate Weaver and Eric Weaver.
